This piece was made by taking apart and putting back together a cover version of Eric Dolphy’s Gazzelloni that was included in the OTOMO YOSHIHIDE NEW JAZZ ORCHESTRA album released in 2005. It took shape through a mixture of composition, conduction, and improvisation. The work features Chris Pitsiokos, Rully Shabara and Wukir Suryadi from Yogyakarta’s amazing group Senyawa, Ruike Shinpei, and Yoshida Nonoko.

2000年代にOTOMO YOSHIHIDE NEW JAZZ ORCHESTRAのアルバム『Out to Lunch』でカバーしたエリック・ドルフィーの作品『Gazzelloni』の音列をさらにバラバラにして作り直した曲です。この曲もコンダクションと作曲と即興が渾然一体となっています。クリスとともに、私の大好きなジョグジャカルタの最高のバンドSenyawaのルリー・シャバラとウキル・スリヤディ、そして類家心平、吉田野乃子にここでも入ってもらいました。
